Craft Night Supplies Needed

The Parkville Middle chapter of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is hosting another community Craft Night for local elementary-school-age kids, this time on May 1, 2024.

Last year's Craft Night was a fun, well-attended event, and helped raise money for charity. NJHS is hoping this year will be successful too!

PMSCT students are busy planning activities, but need craft supplies and/or gift cards to put their ideas into action.

Please sign up to donate one or more craft supplies for the event!

Donations should be labeled "NJHS Craft Night" and dropped off at the PMS Front Office after Spring Break, on or before Tuesday, April 16th.

Thank you for supporting Parkville Middle and helping make the community Craft Night a success!

Bengie's Reading Rewards

Who loves the movies? Do you want to win a FREE movie ticket for the Bengies Drive-in Theatre?

If so, stop by the PMS Library and pick up a Reading Rewards bookmark. If you read 5 books between now and the end of the school year, you will be eligible for the free movie ticket. Just think of all the time you will have -- over Spring Break, on the weekends, at night before you go to bed, or after MCAP testing if you finish early -- to read those books!

Any middle school or young adult book counts and it can be a mix of traditional novels, graphic novels, and non-fiction.

If you have any questions, see Mrs. Kendzierski in the library.

PTO Nominations Open

Nominations are now open for the Parkville Middle PTO's executive board positions for the 2024/25 school year.

For the PTO to run next year, we need an Executive Board, and current board members are not eligible.

The PTO has done a lot since its "reboot" two years ago, and it hopes to support the PMS community for years to come. But to do that, the PTO needs people to take the lead for next year.

If you are interested, and/or know a PTO member that you think would do a good job, please fill out the Nomination Form HERE.

Nominations are due April 8 and will be presented at the next PTO general meeting on April 15.

Texas Roadhouse Spirit Night

Please join us for the PMS PTO's Spring 'spirit night' fundraiser at Texas Roadhouse in White Marsh! They are located across the street from the AMC movie theatre and next to iFLY.

The fundraiser will run from 3 to 10 pm, on Wed. April 17th, and is good for both dine-in and carryout orders.

When you order, just show your server the flyer (either as a printout, or digitally on your phone), and Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% of your total food purchase to the PMS PTO.

Our September fundraiser at Texas Roadhouse was a big success, and we're hoping we can do it again to support PMS PTO activities this Spring. Please share and help spread the word! And thank you for your support!
