Getting to Know You

In order to help our incoming sixth graders with their transition to middle school, we have planned a half day of fun for students who will be coming to Parkville Middle School this fall.  Our program is called Getting to Know You.  Your children will meet some of their future teachers and classmates, and become more familiar with the school building.

We are offering two dates and times so that you can choose the one that best fits your summer schedule: July 24th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and July 31st from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Parents/guardians are responsible for providing transportation to and from this event.  This event is for students only.

So that we can plan for the correct number of participants, an RSVP is required.  If you did not already receive a copy of the participation form, call the front office at 410-887-5250 to have one emailed to you or download one from the website.  The form can be dropped off at the main office, faxed to 410-887-5315, or mailed to 8711 Avondale Road 21234.

We look forward to seeing your child at this event!

Extended Year Learning Program

Our grade level counselors are in the process of identifying students who would benefit from attending our  extended year learning program this summer.  Students will be identified based on their fall and winter MAP testing scores.  Parents of eligible students will receive a letter from the school and a registration form.  There are a limited number of seats so applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.  We will maintain a waiting list should we have more applicants than seats.  There is no fee for Baltimore County Public Schools students.

  • Date: July 8th - August 2nd
  • Time: 7:45am - 11:45am
