Parkville is now classified as a
Community School by the Maryland State Department of Education. As such, we have a Community School Facilitator (CSF) who will join the administrative team in the 2025-26 school year. We welcome Corri Roche to the administrative team at Parkville!
Ms. Roche joins Parkville Middle with over 23 years of service in Baltimore County Public Schools, bringing a wealth of experience through her various roles within the school system. Her experience has spanned all grade levels, beginning her career at Kenwood High School as a science teacher in the International Baccalaureate magnet program. She went on to serve as the STEM Magnet Coordinator and Science Department Chair at Chesapeake High School for 11 years. Ms. Roche joined the BCPS central office as a Title I Specialist, supporting over 30 BCPS Title I elementary and middle schools, before her most recent role as Supervisor in the Office of Magnet Programs for the past 8 years, where she managed a $15M federal grant that introduced 6 new magnet programs to BCPS. Ms. Roche also serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors of Magnet Schools of America (MSA), a national nonprofit organization supporting magnet schools and policy and advocacy efforts across the nation. She volunteers her time with MSA because of her passion for ensuring access of opportunity to ALL students- grounded the foundational principles that magnet schools are built on- which are transferable to students in ALL public schools.
As Community Schools Facilitator, Ms. Roche works to build partnerships between the school, families, and community organizations to support student success. She works to identify and address barriers to learning by connecting students and families with community resources like wellness services, enrichment programs, and academic support. At Parkville Middle, we believe that strong community connections create stronger schools, and my goal is to help every student thrive—both inside and outside of the classroom.
